Building Performance Standards

The American Cities Climate Challenge is an initiative that empowers 25 of the largest U.S. cities to implement near-term climate goals and become primary drivers of progress towards meeting America’s pledge on climate.

This framework, specifically addressing the climate effect of city buildings, and recommending benchmarks and policy to bring emissions down, was an 80+ page document.

Because of its size, it was especially important that this document have wayfinding guides and clear heading layouts. I used large margins and bright, beautiful images to give a dry, technical topic an air of elegance and an ease of reading.
