I’ve been writing since I was a kid.
I write to memorialize moments,
to explore emotions I don’t otherwise get time to think through during the week,
and to share bits of life in a way that creates art from the (mostly) ordinary.
Recently I found out there’s a style called “confessional poetry”
and I suppose my work would fall mostly into that category.
